Glad to hook up with Photo Art Friday again this week. The challenge this week was to use the number 3 , I also used one of Bonnies texture backgrounds called 'Dappled Dawn 1'
I added this texture over my image at about 50% opacity and set on difference. I then used a neon filter which gave me a sketch affect and changed the hue, until I got the effect I wanted.
I have so enjoyed looking at the awesome Photo Art that has been submitted to Photo Art Friday this week, I think I was meant to create an abstract image and I didn't oops! I am off to create an abstract and will add in later.

I love the very first pastel you did with the photo!! Awesome.

I like all versions of your hydrangeas - especially the third one!
ReplyDeletethis is great and the varying effects of the different filters is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt may not officially be an abstract, but it's officially creative! I don't have those filters in PSE and I love the effects you were able to achieve. I like the 3rd one - the light/bright one where the hydrangea is the dark focal point but they're all very cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful example of the changes a dramatic texture can make. I love the second example of the abstraction. So glad you shared your work with Photo Art Friday Suzanne.
ReplyDeleteThese are nice. I love the different looks you achieved. My favorites are the second and the last edits.
ReplyDeleteno 4 from the bottom is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteAll these different looks are great. It's nice to see the various effects. I tried to decide which as my favorite, but I like them all.
ReplyDeleteVery fun! I like the 3rd image the best. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers to begin with. And, so neat to see all the variations. I think my eye leaned toward the 2nd and 3rd ones, but it is all perception. The second is less 2D than the 3rd. Lots of nice texture. Thanks for sharing. Karen
