We are well into the swing of school holidays and I am trying hard to stay motivated and not give into boredom. I took some photos of these lovely Hydrangeas that I picked out of my Mums garden. Lovely Mophead Hydrangea's, she has them in delicate pink and blues!
I also just discovered that if you add bit of Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate) to the water of your cut flowers they last longer. Which is cool because Hydrangeas last ages as it is.....
Then I rescued a couple of my large placemats, cutting out lots of colourful images from a stack of magazines I have. I glued them down with Modpodge but PVA would do and then varnished 3 or 4 coats over the top to protect.
and then I started a background for a mixed media painting, please excuse the terrible photo,lol!
And now back to the real world, another load of washing is calling to me, and its lunchtime!
